Return Window

As the products on this site are sale items you are unable to return them due to change of mind. If an item is incorrect, damaged or defective it may be returned. Please follow the return instructions below.

  • Product Replacements: Due to the age of some items, exact replacements may not be available. In such cases, an alternative or refund will be offered.
  • Items with Imperfections: Products listed with flaws or damage are sold as-is, with these imperfections described in the listing. These items cannot be returned for faults/damage noted at the time of purchase. However, if a manufacturing fault affects the item’s function, a repair, replacement, or refund may be available under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
  • Aged New Stock: Some new, packaged products may have been on the shelf for over a year and may no longer be covered by the original warranty. If a manufacturing fault is identified, MY Plumbing Depot will arrange repair, replacement, or refund either under the remaining warranty (if applicable) or in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Return Instructions

  1. Notify Us: To initiate a return, email our customer service at support@myplumbingshop.co.nz with your order number and the reason for your return.
  2. Authorization: After reviewing your request, we will send detailed instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.

Packaging and Shipping

  1. Place the item in its original packaging, ensuring all tags and labels are intact.
  2. Include the return authorization form and any supporting documentation.
  3. Use the prepaid shipping label (if provided) or arrange shipping as per the provided instructions.

Return Costs

  • For Defective Products: Returns are free of charge when the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Specific Conditions for Returns

  • Change of Mind: Items may not be returned due to change of mind.
  • Defective Goods: If the product is defective, contact us immediately. MY Plumbing Shop will cover return shipping costs and provide a replacement or refund.
  • Damaged Goods: Notify us within 48 hours of receiving damaged goods and provide photos. We will review the claim and arrange for a return if necessary.
  • Incorrect Items: If you receive the wrong product, contact us, and we will cover the return shipping cost and send the correct product.
  • Non-Delivery: If your order hasn’t arrived, contact us to initiate a courier investigation. If unresolved, we’ll issue a refund or replacement.
  • Order Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled before shipment. If shipped, it can not be cancelled.

Refund Timelines and Processing

  1. Return Window: Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Returns must be shipped within 7 days of approval.
  2. Inspection: Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and notify you of the outcome within 7 business days.
  3. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days after inspection.

Shipping Methods and Fees

  • Carrier: NZ Couriers, Fastway and Conroys are our preferred carriers. Other may be used from time to time.
  • Restocking Fees: None
